Raised in Orlando, Florida, I graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a B.S. in Psychology. I then attended the University of Miami School of Law, where I first began assisting others in legal proceedings using both Spanish and English. In 2012, I moved to Evansville, Indiana, and represented the State as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office for 7 years. In 2019, I worked for 10 months as Chief Prosecuting Attorney in Posey County, Indiana. During my time working as a prosecutor, I resolved hundreds of Felony cases, tried over 70 criminal jury trials, and know my way extensively around the Courtroom.
Having accumulated knowledge from my time working as a trial lawyer, I understand that experience, compassion, and grit all matter in the pursuit of justice and in defense of legal rights. I’m well aware of the challenges that are presented for both English and non-English speakers as they try to navigate the legal system and I can provide meaningful counsel to those whose first language is Spanish. I pride myself in tirelessly guiding clients through challenging times with honesty, integrity, and resolve.
